Description
The Internal Gear Rack is designed to fit inside the channel of our V-Slot Linear Rail. It works with all our different V-Slot profiles and can be secured in place using a T-Nut and Bolt on each end. The ends of the gear rack are specially designed so that racks can be joined to make long runs.
Our Internal Gear Rack has Module 1.0. You can butt join racks to make long runs, meaning our Machines are no longer restricted by the maximum length of a lead screw. We've even used this gear rack in-house with a 9-metre actuator - it's a versatile piece of equipment!
The Internal Gear Rack is the perfect replacement transmission to a lead screw and nut block system or a belt and pulley system.

Pro Tip:
- The Gear Rack also works with a standard 20mm profile T-Slot.
- Butt join multiple lengths to make an actuator any size you want.
- To avoid dust and other materials from getting in-between the teeth of the rack, mount the rack facing down
Please note:
- The gear rack is approximately 499mm in length and is designed to be compressible. You can add a Sliding T-Nut on both ends of the extrusion to ensure a tight fit. For butt joining the racks, you may apply a small drop of glue on both ends of the rack and then add a Sliding T-Nut on both ends of the extrusion.
