Description
Our DM556 compatible stepper motor driver is an easy-to-use, professional-grade stepper motor driver that can control a two-phase stepping motor. This digital driver uses DSP technology for quieter, more stable operation than its analog counterparts.
The DM556 stepper motor driver is easy to use for CNC, robotics and hobbyist applications. You can set the micro-step and output current via the 8 DIP switch array. All signal terminals have optical isolation, reducing the chances of interference.
This stepper motor driver is Nema17, Nema23 and Nema34 compatible. For best performance, we recommend a 36V power supply to use this driver with our Nema23 stepper motors.
Features:
- Anti-Resonance features provide optimum torque and performance at high RPM.
- Multi-Stepping allows a low-resolution step input to produce a higher micro-step output for smooth system performance.
- Microstep resolutions programmable via dip switch array, from full-step to 1/128 micro-stepping.
- Optically isolated inputs reduce noise.
- Configurable stepper motor hold current (Half Current or Full Current).
- Suitable for Nema17, Nema23 and some Nema34 sized stepper motors.
- Support PULSE/DIRECTION and CW/CCW modes.
