Tools required:
- Allen keys
- 8mm spanner/wrench
Assembly Instructions:
- Let's get started on assembling the wheels first, refer to the wheel assembly instructions here.
- Then, identify the correct side of the gantry plate, then insert the M5x27 screws into the corner holes.
- Lay the plate down on a flat surface (screw head butting against the flat surface) to assemble the remaining parts.
- Place the Aluminum spacers and eccentric spacers as shown in the drawing, making sure the rim of the eccentric spacer is properly inserted into the larger hole of the plate. This will allow the Cam mechanism to adjust the wheels' position when inserting the gantry bundle into the V-slot.
- Next, add the precision shims from the wheel kit.
- Add the precision shims, the wheel kit, and the Aluminum spacers as shown in the picture. Finally, secure the other gantry plate using the washers and lock nuts. And you're done!
- To attach a basic nut block/anti-backlash nut block to the gantry cart, follow the nut block assembly steps. You can do this before or after putting the gantry cart together.
