Aluminum extrusion rails (V-slot/T-slot)

Aluminum extrusions have been used for many applications - from machine enclosures to robots - as they are strong and modular enough to meet various industrial needs.

T-slots

To join the extrusions together, T-slots are used. The 'T' shaped slot allows for different hardware to be connected to the extrusion, creating complex structures. There are numerous types of T-slots available on the market. T-slot and its use with t-nut and blot can be seen in the below image.

V-slots

V-slots are a variation of the T-slots, with 'V' grooves that fit special 'V' wheels, allowing for linear motion. They come in 4 sizes: 20x80mm, 20x60mm, 20x40mm, and 20x20mm. V-slot extrusion with a V wheel is shown in the below image.
