With similar principles to other 688ZZ Ball Bearings, these bearings have an additional flange to allow a flush fitting against the shoulder of the bearing to a plate. This flush fitting serves to seal and offer protection against ingress of debris, moisture, and dust whilst retaining the grease within the bearing.
This Flanged Bearing is made from high-quality Chrome Steel, and with 2 Metal Shields to protect the ball bearings has proven exceptional performance and durability.
